    Merely a Flesh Wound

Do you think this guy knows he's a living Monty Python skit?

Man Attacked by Mountain Lion, Saved by Bear

My favorite quote from the article:

"I poured some hydrogen peroxide on my arm, and it feels fine. It's black and blue from the wrist to the elbow and you can still see the puncture wounds, but it feels fine."
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

    I like this line:

I think the lion was stalking the bear's cub and I got in the way," Biggs said. "The bear walked calmly back to her cub after, and I wrapped my arm up with a T-shirt and went gold panning before I went home."

...and for some reason the monty python thing resonates with me

Yeah, see, this guy is mountain biker material for sure.

Brothers under the skin. Or missing some skin. Or something.

discussed on another forum I'm on at length already.

    general consensus is BS.

1st indication - a naked elderly man played pattycake with a bear while its mother watched. sounds kinky
2nd - his understanding of bear biology is a bit off - cubs from previous litters do not stick around when the female has a new one - and she does not mate every year.
3rd - he's about to go septic from those cat bites if he does not get real antibiotics

You mean people have been discussing this as if it were real? Now that is funny. You're right though, if any part of his story is true than he really is f-ed without medical treatment. Of course, part of what makes it funny to me is his steadfast insistence that he doesn't need medical treatment.
