    "The Landscape only thread"

Post up some landscape shots whether it be a nature or a city shot. These were from yesterday's drive home from work. The sky was amazing so I had to snap a few to share. Be sure to give details of location and what the heck you were doing at the time.

    Loveland Colorado 5-2-14 6:30 p.m. and 78 degrees.

On top of a hill near San Francisco at sunset last summer. A short layer of clouds was rolling in on top of the ocean, and then another, lighter layer of clouds was rolling in on top of that. Made for a great thunderstorm later that night.

Looking out over Washoe Lake from the top of Mt. Rose earlier this year. Early March, I think?

I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

Station Fire, 2009. Largest wildfire in Los Angeles County history. The fire burned over 160,000 acres. I took these pics from my community. It was sad to watch my trails go up in smoke...

That us sad Hawg and I know the feeling. I was evacuated out of Ranch Bernardo / San Diego in 2007' many homes around our neighborhood burned down. Luckily we were spared. And Much of the local trail systems burned.

I snapped some more photos today of my local area. It was a balmy 85 - 89 degree day.

Here's one I took of Hoover dam at about 12am. from the Arizona side. There was no one around, except one Federal police officer.
