Since you are posting here and not studying I advise you to get very drunk, have a hedonistic night of debauchery and go down in a blaze of glory. At least you'll have a good story to tell your buddies.

Remember you paid for those classes so you're wasting a lot of money by not taking your classes seriously.

A non-idiot might use the time he has available now to study. But since you are a self-proclaimed idiot, posting here might seem like a good idea. Here are some cliff notes to get you through the exams:

Freezers are supposed to be cold.

Air conditions increase comfort of a home in the summer.

Engines can be powered by steam.

Now, it's time to get a ride in.

I live in Norway, these classes are free.
Altough, one year away from work, loans etc makes this a bad year for me if i don't pass..

Posting here a good way for me to put away stress, you guys are like a psychiatrist.

School is an evil empire that can work for many, but you might as well quit now so maybe you won't be in debt over it for the whole rest of your life.

Oh, at first i thought you might be going on someone else's dime, like your parents, now that i see it's free for you and you're screwing it up and wasting that opportunity for others and yourself, you're an idiot.
    Round and round we go

Tanks for cheering me up :P
there is a 100% position open at the bikeshop i work. Will work there if this exam is as hard as i think.
Who doesn't want to be working there compared to beeing an engineer with three times the salary?

They're not really free, the Norwegian taxpayers, including your parents, are paying for those classes. So when you finally feel like you're ready to try school again then you need to focus on the task at hand.

You've come to the right place for relieving stress. Hope you feel better.

BTW, you live in a great country!

this course im taking is international. The same requirements and the same classes.
STCW made regulations after some ferry sunk in the English channel. Makes every country/schoool/certificate equal worth.

And its three parts, i cant do 20% in one, 20% in the second and zero% on the third
    need 40% on each part

Riding my bike all over the country, just like Forrest Gump was running. Would be a lovly, simple and good life Altough, i hope you guys vote more for the bikeshop or the passing options.

I'm going to bed now, have calculated and understood most of the tasks with the books in front of me. Tomorrow, no books. Just me and my calculator.
    Wish me good luck america!

Better yet, drop a shot glass of whiskey into a glass full of beer and immediately guzzle it down as fast as you can. Guaranteed to forget your woes for a a while. Tomorrow is another day...

    Let's practice:

If you scored a 20% on each of the three parts, would your total percentage be
    A) 60% and passing
    B) 60% and failed since each part was only 20%
    C) the total score would be 20%, which would be failing no matter how you sliced it.

    Sounds like Nanny college.

Freezer/air conditioning. You do know, that is where the kids foods are kept. When the kid feels hot, set him in front of the air conditioner.

Engines. You don't have engines. Just Vikings and Nomads.

You'll do fine idiot. Wanna come to america and watch my neighbors kids?

We do have that system aswell! Altough, only the highest tickets.
    85kmt or higher in a 60kmt zone, 105kmt or higher in a 70kmt zone, 130kmt or higher in a 90kmt zone. If i drive 139kmt in a 90kmt zone i will get a 1 547$ ticket.
Considering it, to pay my failed scool back to society.

Our generation is going to clean up from you guys.

hey, not everyone are like me, i like to work with my hands and know that well for a 21y/o! Some are good with books and math, some are not.
My last work was very good learning, but to get to be the boss like i want, i need to have the school.
Lathing and machining, tig, mig, stick weld, gas weld, overhauling ships engines, hydraulics and whatnot.
I'm also a decent bike and car mechanic. I've taken to pieces cars, restored and put together.
Building bike wheels, overhauling forks and doing everything in the bike shop.

I'm just not the guy which can sit down and calculate all the stuff we do at school. I've tried, but im slow in learning this. At home i have different stuff to put my hands on.

Being pretty harsh on ol' Skorp - no?
Idiot? Perhaps, we're human and all make mistakes.
It's how we recover that defines success.

You're young, focus on, and pursue your passion.
Once it's discovered, fight like hell to create your niche,
and then your life will fall into place.

Education is a valuable life tool, not using it now is a bit idiotic, yet
don't beat yourself up, or let others diminish your value.

I'm not taking this as personal as i should!

I have plenty of exuses for myself!

New exam tomorrow, this time its Maintenence, Measurments and Control Engineering (i think thats the right English name for the class)
So really, i have some regulators to read and calculate around.. Which is just add and subtract and some percentage stuff.
Then its just to answer questions from my daily work onboard regarding the Maintenance! Should be easy

Op you can master the art of procrastination like I have. I preform well under pressure.. When it counts I can make it happen. Hmm... yup.

haha I was an engineering major and honestly I did all the hard Electrical Engineering, Physics, and math classes then decided it wasn't for me. I already had a minor in computer science (programming) built into my major. So i just ran with that and finish with a degree in comp sci. I do not use it to this day, granted I do work in the tech industry as a consultant but you never know where your paths will lead you.

    goodluck OP

    Edit:

I also did fail two classes and still graduated on time so when it comes down to it if you really want to succeed you will work your ass off for it, as already stated we all screw up sometime.

Maintenence, Measurments and Control Engineering was all good.
Now only two easy practical exams left (and possibly easier to fail on)

Practical in Electro and Engine room simulator.

I spent $40k on my degree, graduated with a 3.8 GPA, perfect attendance, and studied my ass off. I have never gotten a job that made use of said degree...
