    I need ideas...Legal ones

i want to buy a new bike soon and my job doesn't give me enough to survive on and be able to afford a new bike...i need ideas on how i can make enough extra cash to buy a new frame and all of the parts to go with it. I'm looking at getting an intense 951 or M9 fro, so its not really gonna be cheap.

Trying to resist..but he inner antagonistic azzhole wants to play.

Are you an indentured servant, or an illegal alien w/o work permit?.. If not, get a new legal job.
Understand the difference between wants & needs?... "I want to buy a new bike soon" does not = I'm hungry and need to eat.

Okay, now go sell sperm, blood, a kidney, a nut, or even an eye - especially if you enjoy blind corners.

Well for one thing buying a bike as a package/a whole bike is much cheaper than a build.

Im in the Army and im posted in Italy so i can't legally get a new or second legal job here because of the agreement the United states military has with the Italian government, my wife can't even work anywhere other than on base here and she has a visa.

Legally i can't do any of those things things here. we are not allowed to accept payment for anything unless its a job provided by the united states army or its contractors on base, that is why it is difficult and i make more than enough to survive but i would like to get a new bike sometime sooner than later, also i know buying a complete bike is cheaper but i dont care about cheap im very picky with my components and most places don't offer all of the components that i want with their complete bikes.

That clears things up. Guess just save a few bucks here and there and wait until your tour is up. Buying a bike in the States would be cheaper than buying it in the EU.

Thank you for your service. It is truly appreciated.

You're welcome. I'll probably just save and wait, not a fan of loans or illegal stuff

Donate plasma. In the States you can make $2-400 a month if you go the max (usually about 2x a week)

You make income from the Army tax-free, working in Italy. The military pays your Barracks' living expenses, and chow. Why can't you save anything?

Work at a bike shop there...for your new bike. BTW - an Intense bought in Italy is gonna be crazy expensive, man. Go for a comparable Euro brand, like Mondraker, Lapierre, or Commencal instead.

Learn to race downhill and be worldclass racer... Intense will provide you with your equipment instead of having to buy it.

Or work your a$$ off to get promotions in what ever branch of service you are in. Or wait until your contract is up and you are back in civvie life.

Find some sort of free lance work you can do remotely via computer during your down time there, like invoicing or data coding etc. That way you can work for an American company while in Italy and no one can say jack squat about it. Have the missus do the same.
