I Have Been Banned From ? The Official BANNED Thread...
Hi Friends, ive missed you guys, hope your all well, but im back baby
We have all been banned from things in our lives, forums, groups, places, drinking venues (pubs), night clubs, restaurants, your local trail, friends houses, banned from seeing certain mates or girlfriends by their parents, banned from your kids school because you have abused the head master on a parent teacher day, banned from driving a car, banned from leaving your house by the police, banned from going within a certain distance of another person or place, etc etc.
I was banned from my local library for spending extended time in the toilets and having numerous overdue and lost books that i refused to pay fines for.
Ive been banned from 4 rival rugby league supporter forums for trolling, starting bad rumours about their teams and just winding up their supporters after my team the Eels has beaten them.
A mate of mine is banned from the local dog park because his staffy has attacked multiple other dogs and two people.
My little brother was banned from the local bush for starting two fires when he was a kid, the police arrested him from our house twice with my mum in tears, he was also banned from the school bus for flashing his penis to anybody that would look.
Where have you been banned from peeps, be honest, if you have been banned from anywhere or anything now is the time to come clean.
And every time you are banned from something you must report in here and confess.
cheers legends

Ha, Tone's just drops in at random moments. Good hearing from ya!
I've never been banned from anything although I did draw a 1 day suspension from high school for fighting. It was a friday and so some of my friends skipped school and we just went out and caused further, unsupervised mischief. Hell ya, three day weekend! Ah, those were the days.

I was banned from emptybeer............they erased every post I made over about 8 years. But I'm back, and I'll never ever post about this emptybeer being anything other that "consumer driven review" site again.....
Nossir.......if it gets 5 flaming chilis, and a thumbs-up from the site owners , it's a GREAT product, no doubt!
Lets see here.... I have been banned from MTBR but it was only temporary. I managed to pick up a "lifetime ban" from a local music venue for yelling at a security officer who was hauling azz in his 4-wheeler and almost hit me in the parking lot. He didn't like my tone and promptly called the real police who escorted me out after giving me a paper claiming I was banned for life! I have never been back since.
I have banished a few "used to be" friends in the past also. And I have personally banned myself from ever stepping foot in Iraq or Afghanistan again.

Whew! That was quite a trip! All done sir! I was kidnapped and held hostage in Nigeria, but managed to escape and took a bunch of girls with me... I brought down the dictator in T'stan with a bottle of Stan's and a CO2 cylinder I happened to have in my backpack; most of the population of Germany have now renounced Satan and are sending care packages, (bratwurst, jackboots, and Nazi paraphernalia) to me in Arizona, and the ex in Gloucestershire has a smile on her face and a bit of drool on her lower lip...

Mission (s) accomplished!
I'm happy to see that you were able to escape Nigeria with some booty.

I Have Been Banned From ? The Official BANNED Thread...
Sorry, I've got nothing. Well, there was one time I demanded a whopper from McDs. I grew upset when they said they didn't have whoppers. I threw myself out in protest that day.
I seem to get into trouble because of the people I associate with. I've been banned from:
One bar. A very drunk acquaintance of mine once apparently thought an emergency light in the washroom was a spy camera and proceeded to pull it down from the ceiling.... as well as most of the drop ceiling panels. He then proceeded to hurl it at a toilet breaking it and subsequently flooding the washrooms. The restaurant couldn't prove which of us actually did it, so they banned the whole "group" of us. Joke was on them though. Approximately 3 months after that, the bar closed.
I have also been banned from a couple Hockey arenas. One because I chased a guy off the ice to his dressing room. I have a nice scar from where he slashed me, but off-ice antics is a real sore spot for private arenas - which is what they said I did, so I got the boot from there. Then I've been banned from a public arena for 'multiple offenses.' Public arenas have a "zero tolerance for violence" policy but they'll generally suspend you for just a couple games for a "first offence." Unfortunately I put the guy in the Hospital so it was hard to look the other way AND our whole team was already on 'probation' because we were caught with open alcohol in our dressing room twice.
In '96 i bought a scalped ticket to a Monday night Chargers vs. Raiders game. $180!!! Called in sick to work. Made my way to my seat only to find that section a sea of black (this in San Diego mind you). I was ok with the verbal abuse and popcorn thrown at me. When the spit hit the back of my neck, within 30 seconds of sitting down and before the game had even begun.... i spun and cold cocked the guy behind me. No idea if it was even him who did it, but it immediately became me vs. an entire section.
When security arrived, obviously they hauled me off and not EVERYONE else in the section. These days, the zero tolerance policy in stadiums woulda meant a night in jail, banning from the stadium, loss of season tickets to whoever i bought that seat from, and an assault on my record. Back then it just meant i spent $180 to get my ass kicked and never even see my team on the field.
Oh... and my team got their ass kicked that night too.
Not long after I got married, my wife got mad about something I did or didn't do and banned me from my bed. Said I had to sleep in the guest room until she decided I could come back. I told her I was sleeping in my bed as long as I lived in the house, and if she didn't like it, she could go to the guest room (or wherever). Since that day, she's never tried to ban me from anything.
My highschool. The Anglican Church in Belleville Ontario (for eating popcorn and cheering while high on acid). The nudie bar on the same town (for sticking my tongue out at a dancer). The Jarvis House, a biker bar in Toronto (for starting too many fights, not for being in them, just for causing them to happen). The USA.

This ^^^ is an amazing coincidence because I was at that game that night. There were several fights that broke out. I don't know if I was close to yours or not but that game was a blow out. And the Raiders VS Chargers games always have these scenarios play out. I distinctly remember this particular game because it was the only time I ever saw the two play live on Monday night at Jack Murphy Stadium.

I stopped being a Chargers fan for good shortly after Gene Klein sold the team to Alex Spanos. I could see the writing on the wall early on in that one.
I was booted from the scouts for bringing in copper bombs and blowing a toilet up, it wasnt even my idea to push it under the rim of the toilet bowl, but i was the one banned, mum wasnt happy.
I was also banned from the girls toilets in primary school, i was just drawn to them and liked going in them all the time to see what was going on, think my mum might have even been called.

LOL Rocko, you are our very own Macgyver mate, have you still got the long hair ive seen you in pictures with? have you ever sported a mullet?

Funny stories.
Makes me think of all the stuff I did and got away with or at least was not banned.
In retrospect, I guess I was always just a half step ahead of getting caught, lucky or devious enough to cover my tracks.
In high school, I volunteered to work in the attendance ofc for extra credit. This allowed me to cover my tracks and my friends when we skipped classes regularly. It also allowed for marking kids absent that were actually in class. Handy to cause some trouble for a few I didn't get along with.
Fifteen years ago, I was pepper-sprayed, handcuffed and tased.
All part of job training - OR -
retribution for not getting banned
In the Middle Ages, the biggest mistake was not putting on your armor because you were 'just going down to the corner.'

Yep, one of those "oh, damn a fight and the game hasn't even started" you caught out of the corner of your eye while getting settled was me. =P
Obviously i didnt miss much. I have been to many Charger games since, but i have not been to another Chargers vs. Raiders.

I know quite a few who did the same. Any one in the construction industry who dealt with the Spanoses got screwed over by them. S.O.P. on any Spanos project is not to give contractors a final check. EVER. You have to take them to court, and months later you MAY see a fraction of what they were supposed to pay you.
I remain a Charger fan out of home city loyalty alone, when (sadly, not if) they move the team to get a new stadium i will probably be over pro football entirely.

I've actually MET the Spanos family. I feel for your team loyalty. That's gotta be tough......

I don't remember Gene Klein as being that great of an owner. Remember Harland Svare and some of the other coaches we had. That GM he hired that traded away our first round pick every year for tired old veterans that didn't help us (Bobby Beathard?). All-pro Fred Dean, all-pro Gary "Big Hands" Johnson and all-pro Louis Kelcher all on the 49ers helping them win Super Bowls instead of on the Chargers because Klein didn't want to pay them. John Jefferson all-Pro his first two years, then traded away to Green Bay instead of given a raise that he totally had earned. As far as overall ownership records go, I don't think the Spanos family has been worse than Gene Klein.
Banned from the Peppermill casino in Reno. Was winning too much at blackjack over about a year and accused of counting cards. I was but they had no way to prove it.

I think it was more my pattern of which days I was in there combined with only betting with certain dealers and staying away from the high dollar tables then it was my actual betting patterns at any particular time.

Don't know when you were there, but are you familiar with a 'house band' from the Peppermill called 'The Tommy Bell Band'?

93-94 only spent time in the casino so I can't say I know them or saw them. Was living in Truckee working in Reno designing runway and taxiway upgrades.
