It'll be mixed-drink:30 for me in about 20 minutes!

Think I'll go with a Pina Colada tonight.

BTW: It was "only" 98 up here in La Cres. today.

My parents said it was 127 in Havasu today. That's fairly warm, don't you think?

But it's still dry heat, so it's not so bad (yeah, right!).

Sad thing is that in those temps, you gotta drink even good beer really fast if you like yours cold. Or sit inside all day and watch the pasties float by on the river, tits up or bottoms up!

Yeah, but when you're miserable and idiotic for being out in this kind of heat, is that really such a bad thing?

122 when I came out of the movie theater at 4:15, AC is on the blink in my Pathfinder. It was substantially cooler outside my truck than inside.

I have one of those in the fridge, however, I can't do black heavy beers when it's this hot outside. Deschutes River Ale for me this evening.

And for the record, we have 111 in Sacramento.

AZ kills car AC units, especially in black, dark blue and dark grey paint schemes.

A couple of years ago while in Phoenix it was so hot that the
glue on my cars door seals melted. All the seals feel off when
    I opened the doors.

What did they do, put the seals on your door with a hot glue gun? I see the cosmoline melt out of the door interior panels of VW's in this kind of weather.

It was "only" 94 here yesterday. Definitely not a dry heat though.

90 degrees up here in Seattle. No AC in this town so it's surprising hard to beat the heat when it warms up like this. But you guys in the SW got it bad no doubt about it. Hope you get below 1,000,000 degrees soon.

    Well now...
If we're going to turn this in to a peter thumping temp contest.

Heres an official weather station just down the road from me in Henderson NV.
It feels like it's only 105.
It was at least 121F earlier today and that reading was taken between 6 and 7pm.

You wouldn't think there'd be a whole lot of difference from 129 to 134, or 122 to 129 or 134. But once you start going over 110, it seems that every 1 degree is a huge jump. When everything that you touch outside is hot, even when in the shade, it's getting warm.

    This is true for sure.

The high temps in DV are all over the news here. An interviewed worker there said that his shoe souls have melted on super hot days there. It was reported that the temp on the pavement can break the 200 degree mark.

Ok, kinda hot today, 4 day weekend of sorts for some... winding down feeling Sublimely Righteous, though I did sneak in some Dead Lake Mead Red custom self brew from Hawg's bud's sometime last week when I picked up some sublime Bluefin tuna for the Barbie.

^ It's called Dead Carp Red, aka, "DCR". A hoppy, potent, sippin' amber ale that is full bodied and not for the light hearted (or light headed).
