From an urban ride last summer. Things are always changing in Atlanta.

This is a great tunnel to ride through

This did not last too long. Great video of them painting the tunnel was online for a little while until it got pulled. This was a testament to the times (last summer there was a slight problem in the Gulf of Mexico...)

Something cool I saw along a riverside trail in Geneva last year

From a ride within the last week or two

    Same area

Just "a little" work involved here.

I believe it was endorsed as well so......otherwise, that's a lot of property damage

    Very cool nonetheless.

    Struble Trail off 282

There's some graffiti on an old railroad bridge down the struble trail. I believe it says DTown West (For the Downingtown West HS). You can see it from rte282. I'll have to get a picture next time I'm riding by and post it up.

(Will edit this post w/a pic once I have it.)

Here are some i shot today.
The first few are of a car that is used to make people more aware of the use of closes circuit television (cctv) in certain parts of the city.
The license plate says : afblijven wich means as much as don't touch.

Then some shots of stencilwork, and the last is of a few artists that are hard at work on a "legal" wall.

for y'all graffitti lovers, i recommend going to berlin, take a bike there (doesn't have to be a mountain bike), but the graffitti there is amazing- probably one of the most graffitti filled cities in the world if not the fullest

True, Berlin has a great graff and street art scene.
When i first went there i was amazed at some of the things i saw.
    The same goes for Paris.
As soon as you enter the north of the city with the train you can see al kinds of cool stuff, on rooftops, 40feet up in the air on sides of buildings cargovans and trucks etc...
And thre also is a lot going on underground as well.
In the +/-200 miles of catacombes that run underneath the city you can find modern day creations and centuries old ones as well.
But this can only been seen under guidance of a guide who know's what they are doing as it is illegal to enter them.
But if you ever have the oppurtunity to go there and you are not claustrophobic or scared of a few bones here and there, i would highly recommend it.

Here are a few pics i took last year and last weekend.

Found a couple more but only on a night ride had a camera with me. Hope to snap the other ones daytime tomorrow.

From what I hear there's plenty more, but didn't ask for directions as it's kinda fun to spot these accidentally.

    Nice one !
I have quite a few friends who engage in similar activities, and i know where to find lot's of their (somtimes legal) work.
But finding one "in the wild" is always better.

I live in a small eclectic town and we have someone that paints various little images here and there; nobody really seems to mind.

    This one was hilarious

Yesterday shot this and a couple more of these... uh... gremlins. This was a nice one I think so I'm giving it for now and will post later some more of the stuff I shot.

Now I'm wondering how many of these critters there actually are.. I mean... you'll see.

No more holding back on the happy gremlin bunch. The Holy Grail of critterdom might just have been found.
Only the first two are from elsewhere and were a bit hard to shoot as I barely noticed them behind the vegetation.

The following ones are all from the same building.

These'll all be gone sooner than later now I guess as they're renovating the building.

I don't understand why some many people hate graffiti, perhaps it's the fact that I don't care about everything remaining "pristine", I really appreciate seeing that there are people out there with passions.

IDK, I don't do it, I just enjoy seeing it.

Today i went for a ride with the crippled Pugs, and i saw this Rotterdam piece by Ces53 who is also a member of the earlier mentioned Lastplak crew.
And the last one is some stencilwork with a picture of our queen.

A lot of tags are lacking originality and I think that's what does it. There's a general motif and many seem to follow it. Street art can be cool, but tags remind me of kids with felt tipped markers drawing buttholes on park benches.

Today i went for a ride to the centre of the city to a bike shop on my new black & green Karate Monkey.
I had to make a stop at a new piece of work by the Lastplak crew & friends.
Appropriately called "50 shades of green" (green & white are the colors of my city)
After that i had to make a stop at another one of their pieces, this time in blue.
And after that one i snapped a huge one close to the central station.

Today i went to the opening of the Lastplak homebase.
It's a gallery/shop in a old shop that was closed and has been empty for a while, they were given permission to use it for 1 month only.
The majority of the crew was there together with a lot of firends and a lot of visitors throughout the night.
When i left a lot of their work was sold, but will still be on display for a few weeks.
As a bonus the shop next to it was ampty as well, and they were given permission to use that one as well, and they left that part to another collective.

    Awesome thread!

I see Graffitti all the time but it's generally in areas where I really don't feel like stopping for photos
