I went into a bike shop in JT this weekend to get a map of the new singletrack that is located just outside the JT park entrance. Come to find out that it appears as though some of the trails inside the park are finally close to being opened up to cyclists!!!!

I have long legs so I'll rather sit on the right side.

Now we'll just have to find someone willing to sit behind the driver and we're set.

Good memory JK! I was letting it out for a long weekend with my drinkin' buddies. The first thing I did when I got home yesterday was to buzz it off.

Funny side story: Did you see the other pair of sunglasses hanging off my shirt in that picture? I found those on that hike. We went home afterward and got smashed. We were feeling adventurous again so we went on another hike from our cabin and somewhere along the way, I lost the pair I am wearing in that picture. Alcohol and sunglasses do not mix well together...

Do you think it looks too much like Hutch?

Take the glasses off and it'll look like Darth Sidious which is what I've been calling Hutch since he changed his.

Ambassadorhawg, been itching to head up to Joshua Tree. I have heard nothing but great things

Recommendations for trails? I am a beginner, and I am loving downhill Nothing too technical, still not doing jumps or drops. Not too much around here to stretch myself and try new stuff either, so I do want a bit of a challenge, not just bunny hills

You can't ride inside the Park (yet). If/when it does open, there's some fun looking stuff there. You can ride a single track loop off Onaga which is on the road to the Joshua Tree entrance to JTNP. Check google maps to see it or go into Joshua Tree _icycle Shop and ask for a trail map.

Otherwise, check the trails in the Palm Springs area.

EDIT: I dint use the "B" word.
