Cycling Related Buckles: Awards & Personal

Been many months since I did a carving for a cast belt buckle and was thinking of new ideas for a future project. Though many have seen them before, here are a few I did in the past.

Two were for Jay Petervary's events (Gravel Pursuit and Fat Pursuit) in ID and the SURLY "Croatian Bear" buckle was cast for myself only. All together they represent an enjoyable time although spendy to produce.

Those are frickin' awesome! The detail is beautiful.

Have you done anything besides belt buckles? I don't need a belt buckle, but I'll bet I could think of something useful, like a bottle opener...

Very nice work. That Surly design is nasty. Nasty as in bad ass. Bad ass as in sick. Oh what the hell its just a great piece of work.

    Thank You!!!

I don't do any in-house castings...BUT, I can certainly create the original to have casted. Have a broad array of carving skillz!

Thanks DJ! I quite enjoyed carving The CROATIAN BEAR buckle and had to have a couple casted for my portfolio.

NOT Cycling related but I considered having this newly completed bone pendant I did for my Son casted in bronze. Just one of many examples of the carvings I have done over the years.

The Tiger portion of this pendant was based off of a concept sketch done by J.A.W. Cooper (used with permission, thanks Cooper!) and I added in the rest of the compilation. Thought it turned out pretty well!

There has to be some other favorite awards out there too, post up
