Carry a Bike While Riding (Everyone Should Read This!)

Studies show that you should have at least one bike with you while riding.

Imagine all the big scary things that could go wrong if you were to ride without a bike.

F-yeah and in my other hand I'll have my AR-15. In my third hand I'll have my fire extinguisher. My left foot will hold a SARlink and my right a satphone.

I had to carry my wife's skis down the mountain while I was riding my snowboard because she decided it was "too steep".

Whenever I ride without my bike, I just feel a sense of relief because my gun is being carried safely, right where I need it in case someone wants to kill me just to sit on my chest to eat a sack lunch.

On a slightly more serious note, who makes these bikes?
When you've seen someone rupture their scrotum on a bike you won't take the standards for top tube clearance lightly!

I have an AR-15, I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but it's the most powerful weapon ever designed, with it's limited range and small round it's way more effective than a hunting rifle if the **** ever hits the fan, this is the weapon you NEED, there is no way you'll be able to go up against armed troops with body armor with a weapon that can actually penetrate it.

    Who needs a knife?

Screw it, I'm taking my CN with me next time. Ain't no one will dare mess with me. If you were a mountain lion faced with this, what would you do?

It's all about bear spray. I ride that instead of using a bike.

This thread is confusing. Should I be "Carrying a bike while riding", which is 2 bikes total, or should I follow the study results and just make sure to have 1 bike to ride, or should I just make extra sure to not ride without a bike.

Because carrying 1 bike is just Cyclocross.

Zero bikes - This guy has NO BIKE and is doing just fine:
    Attachment 863713

2 bikes - And this guy is ready for anything:

??? - Clearly this is WRONG:
Carry a Bike While Riding (Everyone Should Read This!)-_mg_7721.jpg

    Please clarify.

    Thank you,

These seem a waste of money, I mean, they spoil your hike on the way up cos you gotta carry them, then they spoil your ride back down cos they're crap off road! Silly!

I think it was in Passion but I'm scared to go in there and look. I hear that's where Tone's is hanging out.
Edit: Found it. It's his avatar but the full sized pics are gone. In "One line, no whining" and "No Topic"

Hmmm, let's look at this: Summertime Down Under... Fishin' a'plenty, ridin' for days... Spending time on MTBR vs. Fishin' an' ridin'... It's a no brainer!

No one here seems to bring up the need to carry a life jacket for the creek crossings. Some times it gets deep!
