You could change your user title to: Rep power (whatever yours is)

So does this mean I can say that I have 201 rep power now?
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

    Bye, Bye Rep Power

I'm going to throw out a guess that this might be an attempt to cut retaliatory neg reps because now people don't necessarily know how many points each person took away with a neg. i didn't get a single retaliatory neg before signed rep but since then I've received several

^ isn't it fixed at only one point taken away for each neg rep received?

    True, yet they are related.
ranking = cumulative points, which reflects the points of the member who gives a (+) or (-) rep.
(If I'm wrong here Shig, please explain.)

    How will this affect change?
Not sure, although once the auto signatures kicked in I've not gotten any (-) reps, before many, and mostly unsigned.
    How many more threads?
Many, since once again there was no prior communication.
