    "A Blonde Moment"

So a blonde walks in to a bar....
Everyone at one time or another has had a blonde moment. I just had one and I'm not ashamed to tell it. I'm sitting here in a coffee shop playing on this site on my cell pone. Having some time to waste and waiting for an important phone call. When all of a sudden I panic searching my pockets for my cell phone. Duh! I've got it in my hand playing on this site.

No offence to all you blondes out there, after all it is a well known catch phrase. So how about it anybody else have a "blonde moment " they would like to share.
    This could get interesting.

Q: What's the first thing a Blonde does after she wakes up in the morning?

    A: Goes home.

My life seems to be spent lurching from one blonde moment to the next... mostly that involves sunglasses and regular glasses, occasionally cell phones, but rarely waking up in strange places, any more...
    It's all Here. Now.

I was talking to another woman on the phone yesterday when she said "I have the information you need in my phone, let me go find it..." long silence while she apparently searches for the elusive phone in question.

After a couple of minutes she came back on the line and said "oh, I was talking on it!".

    Well, duh.

I walked into the door frame just a few minutes ago because I thought I could walk through solid objects. Or maybe because I didn't sleep much last night.

Some people say my hair is blonde, but it's really just brown, which is sometimes slightly bleached by the sun.
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

Ha,ha finally someone else willing to admit a blonde moment. I don't feel so bad now.
I forgot to mention earlier I was born blond but over the years it went to brown. Now brown with a hint of grey.

I've looked for my glasses as they sit perched on the top of my head on more thane one occasion. I've also looked for my phone as I talked on it like others have said. My crown jewel though is trying to run through a closed sliding glass door when I was younger.

I have a pat down before i let the door close when leaving my house. Keys, wallet, phone.

With out fail, when i am talking on the phone when i leave i spend at least a few moments looking for my phone.

I have "blond moments" when it comes to remembering peoples names. In the course of my work day I frequently meet new people or encounter countless staff, visitors, and patients. Sometimes I remember names... sometimes I don't. I learned a few tricks to help me remember or getting around it and sometime I have to politely ask for reminders. Sometimes I get staff names mixed up... we all giggle... and they probably mumble "blond moment" or something worse as I walk away

Yup I'm a natural blonde ... I was born that way. For a brief period I coloured my hair auburn because when my hair started to grow back curly grey/blond after chemo. I looked washed out, so I went darker. My hair is longer and straighter, so now I am back to my "natural" colour

my hair has been every shade of the rainbow....and i'm still a ditz no matter what i'm sportin.

(this has nothing to do with being a natural blonde, as most dumb blondes are brunettes with dyed hair)

I was born with bright red hair that quickly changed to dark brown. It sun bleaches kinda red and it now has some grey highlights in it that I like alot, but it has never been anywhere close to blonde. And yet people frequently check me for blonde roots. You know, checking to see if I've been using artificial intelligence all these years. Most commonly it is because I'm walking around searching for the sunglasses that are on my face, but occasionally it's the car keys in my hand, or the phone that I'm talking on. My husband was a blonde growing up so as a courtesy I've taken to calling those moments a temporary catastrophic brain failure. Seems pretty accurate to me.
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

I've searched the house looking for my glasses that were already on my face.

I've gone to the refrigerator to get a drink and left my keys in there.

Also search for my keys to start my truck that was already running

As you get older you start having more and more blonde moments

Hey the first step is admitting it. The rest will fall into place.

I always walk up to my truck and hit the key fob remote to unlock the door.

More than once I've walked up to my building at work in the morning, hitting the remote over and over trying to unlock the building door.

^ hah! i've done that a couple times wiht my house door. clicking the unlock button. Must be getting old.

i was once on a medication that completely effed my brain. my short term memory was shot, and i'd suddenly forget the controls on my car. turning on and off the radio trying to control the heat or AC. It was like all these familiar things were foreign suddenly

Sometimes, after I've been using the land line alot at work, I'll go to use my cell phone and get confused because there's no dial tone....

One of my better ones that I seem doomed to continually repeat.
Plug phone into speakers so I can listen to music. At some point I need to get my phone in order to leave or place call. Search high and low for phone. Can't understand why it's not in my pocket or usual places I leave it when not in pocket.
Begin to become agitated wonder if I lost it?
