Upset A bad start to the new year rant

Geez my friggin new year started very well. It started with my taxes from last year being reassessed and I owe more money, to top it off my trucks starter blew great more money gone. Now my friggin tire has a hole in it and the stupid dealer gave me a spare tire that was not only flat but the winch that holds the tire is rusted so it doesn't come off. And this is all over the past couple of months when my jobs were slow and not much money coming in I thought we are suppose to start the new year on a good note.

sorry about the rant just wanted to get it off my chest

Not good Deke. When does your main building season start? Getting some cash flow back will certainly help.

Yer not alone, Deke. I had no work all December, then a big job a few weeks ago, I ran myself into the ground, figuratively and literally. I ate it going down the stairs to the basement.

It'll get better, don't stress over it!

Sometime in December I commented to a co-worker that I was feeling very good about 2015, that things were trending towards it being a very good year.

Jan 1 I got up, got some coffee & checked my email. My bank sent me notice that my paycheck had bounced and my account was overdrawn $480

Sorry to hear this news, guys. This is the New Year under the Asian Lunar calendar, and we should all be livin' it up.

FWIW. I ain't exactly livin' the dream either. On top of it, my one bad tooth is screamin' at me with every sip of coffee. I literally can't wait until Monday morning and the root canal.

IRS issues here as well.. The day I got my return deposited to my account I got a letter stating my GF's 2013 return was adjusted and we owed... She owes $23.00 less than the amount I got in my return. I had plans for that money and unless the CPA I'm scheduled to see next week has a solution, it'll be going right back to the gooberment.

Phuckin' A Ray, that's painful. I'd be anticipating that root canal as well under those circumstances.

It's no too bad..if I drink with my head tilted about 40 degrees to the left, I hardly feel it.

Still, if one of you guys was to offer me a softball-sized gob of blood-opium, I'd jump on it.

I will, especially while using them stairs. Lights on, hold the handrail, and make sure I have good footing.

I don't even think I'll ride today, after staying up till 4 this morning.

I need one of those helmets that sense when you're going down and inflate automatically.

Sorry to hear deke but trust me you're not alone. But I'd rather not air my dirty laundry so let's just say my new year stinks so far.
