ATTENTION...please..no more 'pictures of the fall' its getting nauseating...

So the good old MTBR staple ''pictures of the fall'', ''riding with the fall'' ''i love the fall'' are starting to raise their Nauseating sad heads around this site, mostly in my favourite forum for the lame, the passion forum, but they also pop up in just about every forum.

The rainbow chasers, unicorn milkers, and candy cotton farters seem to be at it again.

Im calling on a ban on any leaf /fall related threads on MTBR, theres nothing sadder than a leaf peeper, i call these threads ''muppet magnets' they define the word LAME....

There are a few serial offenders on MTBR that love these threads, the same people that are obsessed with taking selfies of themselves while they are riding and posting picture after picture because they think somebody gives a shite, yes the same people that think others are interested in their little Dingo biscuits riding toddlers bikes, god give me strength....

VOTE HERE TO BAN ANY THREADS RELATED TO THE FALL.

These tree hugging, flower kissing, rainbow chasing, narwhal riding, unicorn milkers need to give themselves an uppercut, thats the only sort of selfie im interested in seeing of them...

    Cheers

Mate, I just got a PM from Nicole. Turns out she has a "Fall Colors of New England" 2014 calender that was wants to send to you but after reading this thread, she says she's feeling unsure about it. Please post your mailing address here and I will talk her into sending it to you. Perhaps others here have a few things they'd like to send to you, too. Who knows, this could turn into some real fun and may even be profitable for you...

Tone's, maybe you need a "Russian" escort, since the general and passion forums are getting spammed right now.

Tone's, here's a classic picture of my very rare, old 1996 VW Passat TDI. Only 3000 of them imported into the states that year. It was taken up at Mammoth Mountain, a great place to shuttle mountain bike rides at a ski resort.

What did you ask? Oh my opinion, well my opinion is Tones loves the fall photography. He knew if he posted an anti fall thread he would be inundated in fall colors. His FIX satisfied he could go about his day.

And we were like puddy in his hands and fell for it hook line and sinker. This just shows how good of a fishermen Tones really is.

Good choice! Well according to my dog that's what he would say. The only brand of rawhide he will chew on. The red strips of beef flavor is what does it. At least that's what he told me. Tones what about you?

Mate when I first read the titla I thought you were referring to this GIFF posted elsewhere

Reading your post though I realise it is a lot worse. I'm hearing ya brother. We barely had a winter this year now spring is like summer already, it's becoming very not wintery down under of late. The last thing I want to be seeing all of the time is pics of people riding through beautiful forests in autumn, knowing just how much cooler the riding is there than on our baked sandy trails.

In fact Tones there is only one thing worse than seeing those pics and the narwhal lovers they attract, that's pics of unicorns, no, fluffy white unicorns riding rainbows through the same forest trails. It's killing me mate

I know why he is angry. Last night was the footy seasons Grand Final and Parra wasn't anywhere to be seen. The culmination of the season just reminded him of how badly his Mighty Eels did this season, and last for that matter.

Sorry Tones, the chooks are flying high today mate

Tones playing mind games. He is suppressing his fall color love. What better way to get his fix than to put on that he hates it. Then start a thread stating as such. Everybody took the bait and he's in a win win situation. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak. He plays the tough guy with no feelings towards fall colors and he gets his fall color fix all in one thread.

    The man is a genius!

Fall/autumn is the best riding season around here! Winter and spring are too damn cold and snowy, and summer is too damn hot and dry. So screw you, Tones! I tried to neg-rep you first, but I gotta rep others before I do that to you.

Sometimes, I question the value of my content.

Speaking of weather, I think you should know that all that flood waters from up in CO have clouded the waters of the most of the Colorado River System. Lakes Mead, Mohave, and Havasu are usually gin clear. Craziness!

Sorry man not my doing. It is mind boggling the damage though. The lakes around here look like chocolate milk. Pretty crazy to think the water went that far without clearing up.

It's Australia, not Austria. No Oktoberfest down there. No Oktoberfest babes either. They have to be content with downing cans of Fosters with guys like this -

Ah Brewtality, you keep believing the marketing hype that aussies drink Fosters. We don't touch that $hite except to put it on the boat and export it. Oh and you're wrong about Octoberfest, yes we do and yes we do

Nothing exotic here. Its a Cummins ISX15 in a 2010 Peterbilt. 15 liter, inline six, 600 hp. I am doing a light inframe overhaul. New pistons and cylinder liners. However, the counter bore ledges had significant fretting, requiring the machine work shown in my picture. I use the cutter to remove material from the engine block until the ledge is smooth again. During reassembly, I use hardened bronze shims to bring the liners back up to the proper height.

This is a specialized repair that most shops will not take on. I am the only tech in my shop trained and certified to cut these blocks.
