    Apparently I'm a hero.

Today at the race, some guy approached me and asked to take a photo with him. He told me that I'm his hero because I was racing on a singlespeed. (I was only racing on a singlespeed because my geared bike is broken because I'm stupid.)

So I don't know what to do now that I'm a hero. Do I wear spandex and tights every day and go around doing heroic stuff, or should I start signing autographs? I'm not really sure how to be a good example for people to follow. Most of the time, people see me and turn to their friends to say, "You see that guy? That's Bro. Whatever he does, do the exact opposite, and you'll be set for life."
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

Yep! That way I'm always reminded how far up I am from those jagged rocks down there. That's what heros do, you'll see.

Only problem is that I ride 26ers. Any ideas on how to adapt that saying for small wheels?

It's pretty old school. You probably haven't heard of it.

They just came out of the wash. Can I have one more ride in them before I hand them off?

No can do, sorry. I still like that bike, and I'll like it even more when it's fixed up. Just like having 27 singlespeeds on one bike!

^^ +1. Get an old towel - heck you're a hero, spring for a new one - tie it around your neck, done and done. Take care to size appropriately to avoid getting it tangled up in the rear wheel.

I agree too.. But, I'd go with a piece of bed sheet. it will really look like you're flying in the slightest of breeze. and being you're a SS... you'll look like a ROCKET !

oh, you need a logo too... Whos' got a Superhero photochop of Bro's Logo?

VW, come on man. No capes. You know what happens with capes, right? Death to super heros and even regular heros like Bro. We can't have that happen. Bro, no capes man. Cool?

This world only has room for one hero Bro. So what's it going to be, are you going to step down or do I have to force you.

Oop's let me add this in for those unfamiliar with the O.C.
