If you follow people on Strava, do you feel kind of bad if they don't follow you back?

    Another Strava Question

If they are friend of mine, maybe a little bit. If its just somebody I casually know, or a pro athlete, no big deal.
I follow more people than I have followers, but mostly because it gives me more ideas for local rides.

Question: Do I have to yell "Strava!" every time I go through a segment?

Answer: Yes. You must yell "Strava!" before going through a segment otherwise your run will not place in that segment. Strava places microphones in strategic places before each and every segment in order to track a Strava user passing through that segment. It's in article VI-A of the Strava Terms and Conditions.

I follow one person, just a buddy who's just starting to ride. He follows me too, and that's it. I originally signed up on Strava to see local rides, but I still haven't yet used it for that. I usually find new routes from exploring/riding with others.
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

No. Cyber stalkers tend to like being under the radar.

Average? Average cyclists on teh STRAVAs are not earning KOMs on well known climbs. Most of the KOMs around here are owned by fairly elite level riders...not average at all.

Among international pros...well...way below average then ")

Question: When will Strava send me the KOM crown and trophies I earned? Am I the one who has to shoulder the shipping costs of these items? If I lose the KOM crown or trophy do I have to return these to Strava or should I send it directly to the winner's address?

Before you get them you gotta go to the top with a bull horn and with the top of you lungs yell out " I am the king of the mountain and you are the dirty rascals na nananana" as you paddle all the dirty rascals

If you loose you become one of the rascals and get paddled by the new king.

Depends. Usually you pay shipping to send crown to the person who took it from you sorta thing. They are kind of heavy, so shipping might be upwards of $20 depending on what part of the nation they are from. Usually it is local though, so you could always drive it to their place and throw it through their front window.
