Yeah, good eye. I tried to bunny hop that rock in the trail but clipped it with my back tire, being as I was on a hard tail, it bucked the rear of the bike up. At 10:50 I took a bad line and dropped into that gulley pretty hard too. It was one of those days though that even when you're making mistakes you're still kicking azz.

It's Schultz Pass Trail in Flagstaff. The last time down this run previous to this video was 2 years before. I tore it up on my Paradox, I was ranked something like 64 out of 350 or 450 on Strava.

I'll bet that he has, but I'm thinking that he's further east.

Like your chunk, b mann, looks mighty fun.

Nice wipe out net wurker, we've all been there. You rode away from it, so all is well.

I really enjoy seeing every bodies videos, we're out there tearing it up.

ambassador, your rides are similar to mine, so I just know that there are drop offs and cliffs about. I don't even think about all of the times that I had the potential to get seriously dead.

Little easy ride tomorrow to wake my lazy legs up, then big South Mountain ride Saturday.

    everybody.

dug up a private reserve video, b mann, looks a little hairy. I've ridden flying fish and really liked it, wasabi scared me a bit, I never even attempted the gap jump up at the top, most likely never will, I'm not a big air person.

Flying fish? Is that cryp for Soaring Eagle?

That is the only one of the DH sections I haven't ridden. I hear you on the big air, tho. I still leave a skid mark here and there.

Not me, though. We took a road trip last year and I missed out on riding it. I've been regretting ever since. Word is that it's been "seized" by FS.

Did you notice the step up towards the end?

It's fall line steeeeep on that side of Elden, but there is plenty of rock to prevent erosion. It also tends to hurt a little more when you fall.

Yeah, a little tenderizing as you bounce/roll off the those rocks, huh? I sampled some tenderizing myself last year.

Nope, haven't ridden Soaring eagle either, looks tough, to say the least. Flying Fish starts right up by the ski resort and kind of follows the road down a bit, it had nice some jumps and stuff but not the hair raising sort like Wasabi, Reserve, Soaring etc. Last I heard though it was off limits to bikes because of the amount of hikers that frequent the trail.
