This is the kind of terrain that just begs for a dropper post!

I do fantasize about lift-assisted gravity riding out west. Road trip someday!

Wrong thread.... Brown Mountain belongs in the "Poop" thread. You should really get some Go Pro of El Prieto, or the single track on the west side of La Tuna Cyn. Must do's for anyone in the San Gabriels, as well as Strawberry Mtn Loop.

Yes, post some of those long, sustained downhill runs you get out there. I can't get enough of those!

We do have mountains here, just little ones. 1600 feet is tall around here. So the DH runs tend to be over quick.

    Then more climbing...gag.

Ummm, Strawberry Peak is extremely closed...pretty much forever I've heard? Or is Strawberry Mtn something else?

La Tuna S/T is in my backyard and I do not care for it. To me, everything else is better.

I realize that. What we really don't have out this way is the stuff you've posted in your vids. There's always a cliff on one side of the trail here!

This little clip I posted is from a solid 10-15 minute downhill sesh and I only recorded the upper half of the ride. There's probably 25-30 mins worth of downhill sailing on the ride I did today.

It takes forever to upload a vid that long and most of us probably don't want to watch anything that long.

    So I just post tidbits.

This is my home turf. (Not me riding)
This trail combination is about a 10 minute ride, all downhill and it's only 1000' of elevation.

Be warned, this one is long. I should have stopped the camera at 15 minutes, I forgot that it was on. You could do this whole run without much pedaling, but it's so fast and smooth that you're actually quite tired by the time you get down from trying to go faster. It's Schultz Pass Trail in Flagstaff. The last time down this run previous to this video was 2 years before. I tore it up on my Paradox, I was ranked something like 64 out of 350 or 450 on Strava.
