2014 Off Camber Jersey and Technical T Ordering

    ------------- Updated ---------------------

---------- The ordering period for the 2014 Jerseys has ended. There's always next year. ---------------------

We are set for our 2014 edition of the Off Camber Jersey. I think the design came out outstanding this year. Monogod deserves a special thank you for supplying the picture scene used on the front.

As with last year, we have two different offerings: a traditional cycling jersey and an technical t version. For the technical t version, there is a separate men's and women's version. The cycling jersey is men's only. There are size charts for each item in our storefront. Please see note below about sizing.

    Men's Technical T ("Ultimate Jersey")

    Women's Technical T ("Ultimate Jersey")

Men's Cycling Jersey (relaxed or club fit, denoted as "Bronze fit")

Men's Cycling Jersey ("silver" version: better material, tighter fit, touch more expensive)

    Sizing:
Carefully review the size charts that are posted in the storefront (see link below). Forget any notion of what small, medium and large mean in clothes. Forget what you think you where in a pants sizes. All clothes are now vanity sized. A 36" waist on a pair of jeans means that your waist is probably upwards of 38" or even 40". Buy a cheap tape measure and take your measurements to use on the size chart. If you have any doubts, order 1 size up if you want a looser fit. The ultimate t is an athletic fit, so you may want to go 2 sizes up (base this on the measurements you take and the fit you want).

    Prices:
The traditional cycling jerseys are $60 or $70 each depending on the material (bronze vs. silver). The ultimate jersey is $45. To me, this is an amazing deal for a custom, one-off sublimated jersey. $5 for shipping will be added and there is no tax. You will pay podiumwear directly through the ordering process. You can use major credit cards.

    How to order:
Ordering is available through an online store front. You will need the password ....to enter the store (no quotes).

Edit: link removed since store front has closed

Once you enter the storefront, you can pick the version and size that you desire. You can order as many as you would like.

When do I get my jersey?
Production of the jersey will start once we close the store front. Right now, I have it set to close at 1/31/2014. The manufacturer will send the jersey directly to you when it is produced. This may be late Feb or early March.

I'm not affiliated with the company or the shipping in any way, but if you have general questions, I can try to answer them.

If you are curious why I chose Podiumwear, I simply like what they stand for and they make everything locally. I realize there are a lot of good companies out there, but I would rather be on my bike than shopping for clothes.

Great job, heyyall. A couple of questions before I place my order. It appears that the Ultimate T-shirt does not have the "Ride More, Whine Less" script on the side panels as the cycling jersey does. Is this correct? What is the difference between the Bronze and Silver jersey (I couldn't tell from the storefront). Also, last year's design is still showing up on the Ultimate design order page. Do you know if this is still available?

That is correct, the tech t doesn't have the words. The reason is that it doesn't have a side panel -- there is a seam that runs right where the words would go. We tried a version with words above and below the seam, but that didn't work. So, we opted for no words.

    Silver vs. bronze:
There is some product literature here https://www.podiumwear.com/uploads/c...ng_Catalog.pdf See page 13 for the silver jersey info and page 29 for the bronze info in the link for the details. Essentially, bronze is a relaxed fit and silver is more fitted. The sizing charts are different as a result, so pay attention to that as you look your size up. In terms of the fabric materials, the silver is slightly better materials. I don't know if it is worth the $10 extra, but that is the one I wanted, so that is why it is being offered this year.

    Ohhh stop!!

There's no such thing as "long sleeve weather" in Hawaii, especially on the side you live on.

    Long sleeve...Hawaii...

I don't own a single long sleeve jersey in MN. I use pull up arm warmers and polar fleece.

Ever worn wooly goat leggings on your arms during a cold ride? That would surely draw some attention.

All joking aside,I will most likely get one this time.

Are these the same as before? Can I get a better idea of the differences in fit and size,by reading through the other thread?

2014 Off Camber Jersey and Technical T Ordering

Best advice-ignore the other thread and use the correct size chart and a tape measure; go up in size if some of the measurements are close to the limit.

The ultimate tees fit like an athletic shirt. They are designed to be close to the body. If you want baggy, go two sizes up.

The regular cycling jerseys are made to fit against the skin. The silver one is a slim fit; the bronze is a relaxed fit. By relaxed, it means a little forgiving around the waistline. I have an XL bronze and a XXL silver from some other orders. These two fit essentially the same.
Edit: I just tried both jerseys on. The silver is definitely more form fitting through the midsection. The bronze is fortunately (perhaps finally) loose around my midsection. If you are fitter, the silver will fit better.

For the cycling jerseys, you can also cross reference sizes at the LBS. The primal wear jerseys in their club fit are like the bronze jersey fit. I don't have an ultimate jersey to compare, but maybe somebody could compare fits to standard athletic tees that can be found at sports authority and the like.

Thanks heyyall! I think I'll probably go with the ultimate tee.Am I right to assume it's some kind of polyester blend, like most athletic shirts?
