*Sigh* Hopefully "tomorrow" shall be a brighter day - crappy rant

Was looking forward to going on my first bikecamping overnighter this weekend, but it looks like the weather is going to nix it for me (I am a huge anti-below-65F-degree-person)..

So in the meantime, I'm going over my purchasing endeavors / budget until I get complete.

$143.68 for this week, $369.94 next week, $309.94 after that, then $139.94. These figures don't even include stuff for video-logging my trips That in itself is almost $1k in crap.

Ug. I hate cold, rainy days. Why is it that during the work week, the weather is always nice, but it turns to crap on the weekends. It is a conspiracy of epic proportions I think.. between such government agencies such as the CIA, KGB, and even mother nature is involved. All geared towards LOL'ing at my expense. What ever happened to global WARMING

Ah, and this is not to mention on one of the rail-trail routes, there is this nice, too big to be a stream, not big enough to be a river, but flows into a major river system, which in turns flows into the Mississippi river.. anyways.. almost all of the private properties along this route look like dumping sites that the landowners use to dump their crap in. It would be such a nice area if they would freaking clean up their damn properties. Not too mention the pollution run off that goes into the water supply. Don't people have a lick of freaking sense?

If only I had one of those feather-weight LED TV's rather than a not-so-light LCD TV.. I would straight up find some way to mount it on my stem, connect a webcam facing in front, and use my laptop to display what is in front of me.. then, quite possibly, if I could figure that out.. and how to power it (would a serial type of power using dyno's + solar power be enough to power everything?).. I would take the UGRR route south, then hang a right along the TransAm route.. and ride to Arizona. Yea.. I would so do that.

Ok.. enough ranting. I guess it could always be worse. I mean, it could be rainy and cold outside, right? Oh.. wait.. I mean, yea.. ok. I'm going on lunch now I guess.. may as well go pick up a sleeping pad while I'm at it. But then again, with my luck, they won't be in stock (online order only.. even though the website doesn't say that).

    Ja na!

Exactly how are you able to type that and do the thing with your fingers at the same time, anyway???
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

For levity, here is what I'm looking at. Yes, that is 41mph gusts.

As we like to say, just a typical spring day.

Meh. You could be spending $20+ on bandages/first-aid supplies alone per week, on a student's budget. Going over your food budget by buying fast food because it's a fairly big hassle to try to cook with one hand, especially when your one good hand is your non-dominant hand. And you could've just bumped your shoulder that's connected to your freshly-broken collarbone while walking through your house while it's 70* and beautiful outside. And you could've collapsed in pain and almost bumped it again.

And you could've typed this all up with two fingers and a thumb because one hand/arm is in a sling and the index and middle fingers of your good hand are unusable because they're covered in road rash. Meh.
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.
