I have a cat 3 race coming up in a few weeks. It will last under one hr. in duration. When I do high intensity training rides of 1 hr, I do not NEED water. I"ll take a swig from my camelbak after a long climb kinda for "comfort", but I'm not really thirsty.
Would it be wise to hydrate well before the race, and go without my camelbak?
