You know, there's this little race coming up....

and no-one is talking about it.

P36.

Who's closet training?
Who's mastering sleep deprivation?
Who's ready to slog it out, Rain, SNOW (yes, I said it), or shine?!?!?

and ready to attempt to accomplish any random (easter egg hunt on the top of looking glass rock) task I dream up?!?!?!?
You can please some people sometimes but you can't please all the people all the time.

• In 1987 there was a storm that dumped 11.5" of snow on April 3rd
• 1936 was the only year on record when a day in April (3rd) recorded a high temperature less than 32.
• The average temps for April 2-4 are High of 63, Low of 38

Second thoughts!

I 've been trying to get ready for this race, but my only aspiration at this time is to be quoted by
M-U-M on her signature

Last year we got misplaced/lost from the "Race director" and somebody stole my truck!

Ya-know after this Airing I will do this race afterall.

11 days out and things are awful quiet about the biggest (read: hardest) event of the year.

What's the prognosis on trail conditions for the race with respect to deadfall? I assume the snow and ice will be mostly gone...

Maybe a photo with Wendy Warrior might be a P36 checkpoint. Isn't Warrior Creek in the extraterritorial zone of Pisgah East? 2.5 hour drive to Wilkesboro, one hour lap and drive back, yep that's a stage...
