What's the best tire pressure for WNC

Now that we all know the Pisgah is the best tire for WNC, what's the best air pressure for that tire?

If you're not married to the Pisgah tire...0 PSI is perfect. Dude is riding pretty gingerly on the rocks though.

I hadn't seen that before, so it's nice to know zero is an option.

I'll offer a serious answer: go as low as you can without pinch flatting a tube / burping your tubless tire. I'm running Hans Dampfs tubless at around 22psi front and 25psi back.

    Ok even more serious answer.

Depends on tire, where you riding in Pisgah, trail conditions, type of riding you are doing, rider preference, etc.

    Not hard to figure out.
If you lack traction reduce the air pressure.
If you feel you have too much rolling resistance then raise the air pressure.
Also raise the pressure if you are getting pinch flats or burping.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

Dang, what rim & tire combo are you running? I'm on sun ringle chargers with hans dampfs and I don't lose any pressure from burping or dings at 22 front, 25 rear and I weigh about 160 geared up.

I run 25 to 30 with tubes and don't pinch flat.

Riding Stan 355's with Nevagal tires 2.3 front 2.1 rear. I'm close to 180 with gear factor in the narrower rim as well. Lower pressure results in tire squirm in cornering that I don't care for as well.
