What is the best place to go in western NC?

A few friends and I are planning to go mountain biking for spring break(from Ohio). What would be a good place with a decent number of trails, good camping and maybe some fishing?

Thanks. Looks like a pretty cool area. Is there anything I need to worry about visiting in mid March? I heard it can be pretty wet this time of year.

    Pisgah, Bent Creek, DuPont

No camping in Bent Creek or DuPont plenty of free camping in Pisgah.
All pretty much within 30 min of each other.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

Bent Creek has a campground. Hot showers and everything. And yes, it might be wet. But, it might not be either.

Yes, it could be wet. That statement holds true for any month here. Jan was the second wettest on record this go round, and Feb. has been plenty wet. Maybe by March we can start to dry out a bit.
