    Trails near Duncan, SC

will be traveling to Duncan, SC in december for the holidays and was wondering if there are trails less than an hour away from Duncan. Thinking of bringing my bike but if there are rentals that would be a lot better. Will be coming from south florida.

Been reading about pisgah and tsali but its really too far of a drive from Duncan.

    Any suggestions?

    thanks!

Paris mtn and Croft are good trails and definitely closer, but if you've never been to Pisgah, you should go.

If you're right on the interstate in Duncan, you could be to Bent Creek in 1 hour. The Davidson river area of Pisgah or Dupont State forest in 1 1/2. (Bent Creek is faster because it's nearest the interstate)

DuPont State Forest in NC is right at a hour drive from Duncan and is probably a better place to ride than any of the Spartanburg trails if you are visiting and don't know your way around. Our trails are not particularly well-marked and it helps to know where you are going. That's where many people from Spartanburg head to on the weekends.

I am not aware of any rentals in Upstate SC, but the Hub and Sycamore Cycles, which are both near the entrance of Pisgah, have rentals available.
