    Trailer camping around Tsali...

Myself an a few friends are making a run up to Tsali over the Labor Day weekend and one thinks he can find a spot for his pop-up trailer close by on Friday before noon. What do you guys think his chances are?

    ...thanks

Labor Day! All bets are off. But I think on a regular summer weekend you could get a spot in the Tsali campground and be able to ride from your campsite. No hook ups but you can't beat the location. Next closest campground is Turkeycreek. I think. If your nevous and you should be, make a reservation now. Turkeycreek takes reservations, Tsali dosen't.

Better yet reserve at davidson river, bent creek or south mills river and ride some Pisgah trails. Don't you know, Pisgah sucks big time

Try http://www.tumblingwaters.com. It's a nice place, and was about 5-10 minutes from Tsali.

Just to close this thread out...

...got a reservation at Turkey Creek about two weeks in advance with no problem. When I called back to confirn a week later it appears the reservation was lost and the place was full, so was every other place within 20 miles. Did find a room but it took a lot of calls. The moral of the story...reserve early and confirm.
