Longtime Rampage 29 user here. Just wondering what others are using. Mainly looking at Continental Trail King/Mountain King if anyone has any feedback for these. Thanks.

I like the Mtn king. Had it on front and back and stuck a Kenda slant six on rear! Really good tire.

Running a 2.4 Mt King on the from of my 26" rigid. Works great, especially when in the wet.

    Kenda Nevegal 2.2 F&R.
    Inexpensive, Reliable, Heavy.

(full disclosure, I receive Kenda tires to give away as prizes. I buy Kenda Nevegals anyway)

The last Conti 29ers I had (last year) were pretty undersized, the 2.2" Mountain was actually a 2". It was a good tire, just didn't have the volume I was looking for.

Have you looked into the Ardent 2.4"? Seems like a good replacement for a Rampage...

I'm a big fan of the Saguaro for my bike that sees mostly paved surfaces. The center ridge on the tire makes it roll smoother than your average mtn tire and the tread lasts forever.

For my bikes that don't see pavement I prefer the Ardent 2.4".

I ride rigid and have recently switched to a Knard 3.0" up front on one of my bikes for the extra cush. I've only got a half-dozen rides on it but so far I'm loving it.

I love specialized eskars... They just discontinued them but I haven't found tire that had quite the same combo of fast rolling and tenacious grip (for me...).
