After you gorge yourself on Thursday and ride hard Friday and Saturday to make up for it, come out to Southside Park in Spartanburg to a casual ride Sunday afternoon. I thought it would be cool to see how many trail dogs we could get together at one time, so I am calling this event "Ride with Rover." Southside is a great place to take your dog riding with you. There are very few other trail users other than bikers and the trail crosses lots of creeks for your mutt to get some water and take a quick swim. The pace will be casual with lots of stops, so pretty much anyone can keep up. It will be more fun than watching the Panthers lose again. I will bring dog biscuits for all.
Meet up at 1 p.m.
Here are directions to SS:
From Spartanburg, take Hwy 56 South out past the SC Deaf and Blind School. Go about 5 miles and look for Groce Rd. on your left. Take a left and go about a mile to the parking lot. There is a $2 parking fee if you don't have a season pass.
