    Pisgah riding in December/January?

    Hi,
I've ridden a couple times in Pisgah in summer.
I'm curious about year-round riding there... I might be in the area around New Year's. What's the weather and riding like around then? Cold, but rideable?

    Pisgah riding in December/January?

The weather will be, without a doubt:
    -cold, but dry or
    -cold and wet or
    -really snowy or
Could be wet snow, could be dry snow
    -warmish and dry or
    -warmish and wet or
-anything in between any of these scenarios.

Hope that helps. And have fun.

Pretty much any big ride in PNF starts out with a long climb, so you will warm up fast.

Just as mb stated, it's a crapshoot. You might get excellent weather and/or trail conditions... but you might not. Cold but rideable? Usually. Conditions like you find in the Summer but with just cold temps? Maybe.

From about December to March I stay away from creek crossings (most trails with the name 'creek' or 'river')

Yup, the only way to get an accurate weather report here for New Years is to go out in ride in it and report back after your ride.

One day could be in the 20's and the next in the 50's.

If I had to guess though, I am predicting a cold and snowy winter which still makes for some good riding IMO.

Sasquatch, we all know you like videos of men masturbating but if you can refrain from showing them, that would be appreciated. Thank you.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.
