Nantahala National Forest, North Carolina. Open all year?

Is it open all year long? I Live far away so i dont want to go and realize its closed, and everywhere i look it up, it talks about the camping sites being open or closed all year. Cant find whether the tsali loop, and surrounding trails are open all year.
    Thanks for the help

The Tsali trails are open all year, the campground however is closed for the winter. Not alot of choices in the area if your looking to ride and camp. It may be easier to get a cheap hotel room in Bryson City and then go over and ride.

Can any provide some guidance on whether or not and where any shuttable gravity feed trails are near NOC/Bryson City.

I've been to Tsail before, great place.... you'll love it. Have done the LH/RH loops, still need to do the others.

    Thx in advance.

Are you boating/biking? There's a place near Tsali - Freeman's Motel & Cabins (no one has reported a horrible experience, to my knowledge). You can go a few more miles and stay at Fontana Village. Nice ($$$) place with bike trails around the property.

Note - except for the village resort - it is a dry county,
