Looking for a MTB Shop in Asheville

Heading down to Asheville with the family and will be doing some biking. I wanted to get your thoughts on the best mountain bike shop in Asheville just in case the bike needs some work that I cannot do. Plus I would just like to stop by. I have done the google search but wanted to get your thoughts.

    Cheers,

    Danny

Never heard a discouraging word about any area bike shop on these pages so where you trade becomes a matter of where, or what, you ride.

Pisgah, The Hub and Sycamore, Brevard.
Bent Creek, Fatz and Motion Makers, Brevard Rd just off the park
Trek, Liberty, Hendersonville Rd near the Blue Riodge Parkway
    Specialised, Motion Makers
Cannondale, Youngblood on Merriman near 240

Those are the one's I know and have visited and all have had a positive vibe.

Thanks. It is good to know all of them have great reputations. Says a lot about the cycling community.

I would recommend anybody except Liberty. They were not very knowledgeable when I went there. They are focused on sales.

Chainheart is in North Asheville/Woodfin and we're usually not more than 2 days out for service. I turn smaller repairs around with in 24 hours often. I work on a lot of mountain bikes as that's my personal passion. The only thing I don't do is suspension since we have a great in town partner for that line of work.
