    Icycle race.

I just registered for the Icycle race at Fontana and was surprised by the small number of entries. Are any of you guys planning on hitting it? It may be that folks are just waiting to see what the weather is going to look like. Should be a good time.

I hear you about the flu. I had it over Christmas and I'm glad to be over it.

Had the flu for New Years. Did less than nothing but sleep, and wish for the sweet release of death, for a full week.

Calling for rain on Friday. With it freezing Friday night and a high of 35F Saturday the conditions should be interesting.. : )

Thanks for the laugh rob, I always value insight from a kid who quotes Conan.

    Since I can't "grow a pair", I'm bringing bacon.

I was in the FS office today and found out the permit was not given for the race to be on National land because the organizers did not give the FS enough time to issue the permit. So I guess we'll be racing on the same route as last year?!

That's unfortunate, although last years course was fun there is some good stuff on the NF side. It seems that the organizers don't put a lot of effort into the Icycle. Regardless it will be a great time.

Are you sure you are going to have a good time? I believe they will have a suggestion box out for you to suggest how to make this event better for dudes like you. Hopefully it will be big enough for you and the right color for you and in a advantageous spot so that it doesn't inconvenience you.

Lighten up man, this is a race in the the middle of nowhere, off season, 2 hours away from the promoters houses. I'll buy you your first beer before the race if you stop complaining and ending it with "it will be a good time."

It's all good brother! It's called dialog not complaining. Complaining would be like saying "I hate trolls who quote Conan and have balls on their chin that give folks a hard time on public forums" Dialog would be "There are trolls who quote Conan and have balls on their chin who give folks a hard time on a public forum." See the difference?

This coming from a guy who has Hairy Dicky Nuts hanging around his avatar picture...

Can someone drive in front of me and salt the roads this afternoon?

Then I'll need a carwash in Fontanna to get the salt off.

    Hey Ortho guy,

I have to agree with you. Although less ideal on the XC race... its still fun.

Are you an orthopedic?? I am having some serious hip flexor pain. I got some free food and beer to trade ya for a PT session....

Seeing two riders doing the downhill a few minutes ago - I'd say yes.

    Whoever that was:
