I think that is great. I appreciate your enthusiasm, involvement, and effort. Perhaps with all of the additional riders going down Bennett there can be a follow up trail work day. There is already a lot of short-cutting and erosion brought on by increased traffic over the last couple of years, and new "lines" around obstacles on Bennett. Same thing going on on Squirrel. It's pitiful. Many of the harder sections have cheat lines that make me ashamed to be a mountain biker. Thanks again for your community support and maybe you will consider my suggestion.

If we could have worked on Bennett before it opens, that would have been awesome, but it looks like late October, early Nov. we might be able to get some trail work going in Pisgah, again!

Glad that you are considering it. On another note... looks like some work is getting done on Buckhorn, from the top to at least the concrete bridge before reaching the gauging station. Many. I mean, MANY water culverts for lack of a better description. Hand dug.

    Count 2 In

Thanks HUB for being there and planning the Fiesta!!

You can count on two being there, for the greenway opening and the shuttle up to Bennett gap.
Sounds like we picked a great time to make our trek to Pisgah!!!!

I didn't make it back from Panthertown in time to get a ride up to the top of Bennett but I did make it back in time to get the last pint glass . Thanks for putting this on - it was lots of fun.

Did you guys run over any hikers or erode any ecologically sensitive areas?

I'm pretty sure that's a requirement for Bennett shuttling.

No hiker injuries or fatalities, A bug or two may have been injured, but thats about it. Lots of smiles and fun was had.

I would not have even considered it "additional riders."

Speaking of Perry, waht was the final determination on how Perry got "shut" to MTB'ers. I remember Woody saying something about the process they used being questionable?
