How far inland are the good trails

    hey now,
How far inland would i have to be to get next to some mountains?
Looking for a place to move where there's tech/software jobs, l can get a nice house for a good price, and ride sweet trails.
My sis lives in Wilmington. She loves it, but it's a little flat there for me.
    Thanks

    Look at the Triangle

aka Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill. Lots of tech jobs, pretty good riding.

Raliegh = 4+ hours to the big mountains, but only 2 or less hours to Wilmington
Charlotte: 2+ hours to mts, further to Wilm
Greenville/Spartenburg, SC, very close to mountains, close to charlotte, big tech community, worth checking. (yet further to wilm)
Also, check out Greensboro and Winston Salem, and maybe Richmond, VA.

But Raleigh is the closest, although it really is not "next to the mountains"

    ~ Hope this helps
