Nope and how did you get through the filters?

I am going to have to have a talk to the admin about the websites security filters.

Just getting started back up this year and rode a little bit of the Palmetto trail by camp croft and got my but handed to me. Got a Nashiki 27 speed last march first bike that I have been on in 24 years since I got hit by a car when I was 15 on a BMX. Also first bike ever with gears so also learning them

Greer, SC here. Check out Mountain Biking Greenville on meetup.com

Mountain Biking Greenville (Greenville, SC) - Meetup

Very beginner friendly, as well as something for the intermediate riders as well. Most rides are short, as in 6 - 12 miles with the occasional ride going a bit more.

When I was a weak newbie I always liked Camp Croft (Southside), not much climbing and great singletrack.
Paris, Isaqueena, Dupont all have more climbing, but to ride the sweet stuff you have to learn to embrace the hills, and you'll only get better at it the more you ride it.

You should go to Paris, it seems less than a 30 minute drive from where you're at.

It is just a little nervous riding around as many people are in there have hiked there a bit in the past can get a little crowded with dogs and children

No matter where you are you will probably have hikers. You'll get better at biking if you bike a mountain rather than some random place.

When I got back on a bike I was almost 39 and other than a brief time for a few months when I was 21 and it was either pedals or public transportation I had not been on one since I was 15/16 and got my license.

That being said there are pretty much zero options up here for "easy" trails.

So just ride where you want and if you see a hiker yell "STRAVA!" and they will move for you.

Try out Dupont. Lots of gravel to ride on with no real bad climbs and lots of scenery.

Stick to Buck Forest Rd, Bridal Veil Falls Rd, Conservation Rd, and Thomas Cemetery Rd for an introduction. You can Turn off Conservation onto Lake Julia Rd to end at a good picnic spot (complete with table and lake view). Lake Imaging Rd is a little tougher, and the trails all vary from not much harder than the gravel roads to pretty challenging (see: Rocky Ridge Trail). I don't think there are many trails where even a newbie will be walking/pushing much - get the latest map and explore, have fun, and stay upright!
