I haven't been to the trail, but there is still quite a bit on the ground here. Even the roads that are in shady spots have a lot of ice. I am thinking Harbison might be a good place to go this weekend.

Columbia area still has some ice on the ground but trails should be ok. It will warm up on Saturday as well...

I know some folks were hitting Lynch's today. I'll try and post the conditions once I know.

I didn't know anybody in Columbia rode bikes, I thought they just drank coffee and chewed on coco leafs.

Serious though if someone would report how the trails rode today.

we went to Lynchs Woods (in Newberry, SC - right off I-26) on Saturday. It was snow covered in much of the trail but it was very ridable. The trails have recently become noted for their general disrepair but that just isn't true. They were very clear and very ridable. It was a very fun trail system. i'm certain that by now it is mostly clear.

update - 28JAN2011 - Wet, but very "rideable". The roots are slick, there are some mud slicks, but that's about it. The center line is still muddy as usual after a large rain storm. I figure it will be as good as can be this weekend with it being very warm for January. Just wanted to let the community know.

Croft/Dairy Ridge was great today. A few small mud holes, but otherwise in good shape. I wish I could say the same for me!

Good conditions over all out there yesterday. My tires seemed really slow though. I like that someone took a leaf blower to some of the trails. Thanks to who ever that was.
