    Brown Mountain D Lights

OK kids, we got the sausage trifecta out of the way. The sausage trifecta is based both on diameter AND length. Bonus points for smoke. It's time to go riding again.

    Layla suits up.

This log interrupts what might be the most "I can't believe I can go this fast here" stretch in the ABC area. Remember: if the jump is on a blind, right turn, there is a log. Otherwise, let er rip.

The rest of the downfall (some new) comes where you can stop in time. Then you get to the bottom. That is where the downhill stops. Huff it up the really nasty hill. I'm not sure the trail was intended to connect, but it does now. Some sweeet bench cut freshie fresh. Remember, this trail was built under the Bush Administration.

There are some killer views, but don't miss the switchbacks, especially with the fresh leaf cover. You could take a plunge.

This ride features the most tricky switchback riding east of Star Gap.

    Get your bridge on.

    Nice! I recognize that stuff.

Be advised that trail #1 that goes straight up the mountain has been rototilled this week and it is now deep sand. SUCK! It is difficult going even with a motorcycle. The machine they did that with is gone, so hopefully they won't be doing any more of it. Interestingly, they seem to have created new bankshot moves. I wonder if that was intentional.
