    Brevard/hotel question.

Planning a trip to MTB Brevard area soon. Just wondering about bike storage at night, are the hotels cool with people rolling bikes up to their rooms? Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

The Sunset Motel is very bike friendly, they host the daily Stage Race results party each year. Good people. Plus you'll get that locally owned motel vibe...don't stay in the big box down the road.

I'm all for sending money to the mom & pop places, but in case you have a bunch of HHonors points saved up that you plan to use, I've stayed at the Hampton and wheeled my bike up to the room with no worries.

Just don't stay at the Rodeway. Recommend Hampton or Holiday.

I just stayed at the Hampton about a week ago, and they were fine with bringing our bikes in the room. The Hub has a bike wash you can use. Both places were very accommodating!

Hampton has the best breakfast and very nice staff. The holiday inn was not the most pleasant.

The Red House Inn. Daniel(owner) is an avid biker and will be glad to store bike in secure place. Breakfast is awesome and can walk downtown. Highly recommend!

We rented a cabin basically in Dupont called the 'Brigadoon' from the folks at the White Squirrel. If it's not reserved, I would HIGHLY recommend it over a hotel if you're staying more than a few days. One of the best places I've ever stayed for a mtb trip.

X2 for the Red house. It's where we stay if we are up for a race or just doing some local riding. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn with no problems and they were cool about us keeping our bikes in our room.

    Have a good trip!
