Hey guys, can any of ya'll recommend a wheel builder in the Asheville area? Or anyone you have had experience with that does a good job in lacing up a wheelset?
Just gotta say Greg at C-FATZ does a great job..............just got back from a shakedown of my "geared-fixie" that he built the wheel-set for. It's a 29'r wheel....Sturmey Archer three speed internally geared hub (huge flange) on a Salsa Delgado rim with 14mm straight gauged spokes. Good hand built wheels............
I've had:
One rear and two front built by Andy. The rear went away because the hub axle broke after 7 or so years (DT Swiss 340). Both fronts are still going strong, but the newest front is brand new.
I bought my bike at Fatz, but i'm certainly open to anyone in asheville. if you guys dont mind me asking, what are each, respectively, charging per wheel?
Thanks again
