Bent Creek closest trails to Biltmore?

Got a friend who is looking for a 2-3 hour ride. He's staying at the address Country Inn and Suites 1914 Old Haywood Road Asheville NC which is basically around the Biltmore Estate area to use an easy reference. Wouldn't Bent Creek be the closest trail source? Then maybe North Mills?

Figured I would hook him up with a PAS map\cue sheet and send him on his way.

    Well in that case

3.3 mi, 9 mins to the Rice Pinnacle parking lot and 4.9 mi, 13 mins to the Ledford lot.
    (Hardtimes is somewhere in between)

But yeah, Bent Creek is your friends best bet to maximize riding in a short time from where he is staying.

If Crown plaza trails are open when your friend comes, I would recommend hitting that up maybe a mile (10 min bike ride) from hostel.

From what I understand they will be open late spring or early summer. The owner of bio wheels is building them. It will cost a small fee to ride there.

Thanks for the replies. I set him up with some BC links for maps and cue sheets. Sounds like he will start late and ride to finish in the dark.

So you would recommend a trail that you have not seen and know very little about even though they will cost a fee?

    Just wondering what motivates that.

When you say the "owner" of bio wheels, who do you mean? You know they closed their doors, right? Have you been there? What are they like? And where?
