Beech Mtn. DH Park. Appropriate bike?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has ridden/raced at the Beech Mtn Dh park could tell me if I could reasonably ride my 6in travel Rocky Mountain Altitude there. I have it slacked out to 66.6 degrees.

Would it be better to rent a bike if it's my first time there? I would rather spend the $85 rental fee buying a full face and goggles than blowing it in one go renting a bike and gear.

You will def want that full face.
It all Depends how fast you want to go really. I could ride every part of it on my jackal but at half the speed of my v10.
Dh isn't that much fun without a real dh bike IMO.

A lot of people ride a trail bike and have fun.A full dh rig will be more fun but you will be fine on a trail bike on most of the trails.

People camp in the parking lot during races so I think it's ok.Might want to give them a call don't quote me on that.

How many of the trails are lift access? I don't mind climbing one bit, but their trail map is pretty vague with where the lift takes you.
