any trails other than Tsali on the far western edge of the state?

Heading to Nantahala, Tsali and Joyce Kilmer, etc for hiking and biking.

Are there any great trails other than Tsali on the far western edge of the state?

Pisgah is a little too far to drive, but trails of that calibre would be great.

I know that the NOC has a trail right around their place somewhere. I have heard there are some other trails as well but I have not ridden them. The guys in the bike shop at NOC should be able to tell you.

Fontanna Villiage has some nice stuff. There is a bike shop in the village that has maps and can make specific recommendations.

    Maybe I'm just plain stupid,
but last time I looked at a map
Raleigh was closer to Pisgah Nat'l
    forest than Tsali & Fontana...

    Perhaps you're from Raleigh, TN?
