    Any info on this place?...

*At The Ridge FunTrails*****************"Pisgah's New Playground" - HOME

Got an email from Meet-Up about the event on Jan 19th.

The website does not say if the park is available all the time or just for scheduled events.

Can someone tell this Noob what a "Pump Track" is?

It's just like it sounds, a track that if ridden correctly only requires you to "pump" rather than pedal... think of it as a rhythm section in a loop (check out leelikesbikes.com) . They are a lot of fun and a great workout

    Simple pump track

Thanks. Looks like they run smallish. That one is about 34 x 42'. According to the map ATR Map - *At The Ridge FunTrails*****************"Pisgah's New Playground" this one is around the same size.

leelikesbikes dot com is awesome....it goes up to eleven!

I emailed the folks at ATR. Currently they are open for scheduled events only. They will be open for "practice" in the spring. I will be there on the 19th.

I am out of town that weekend or I'd be going. A pump track is a workout.
