After rain trail in Charlotte area

Asheville has Dupont (Cedar Rock, High Rock), Wilmington has Brunswick Nature park and RDU has ..well, not really allowed to mention what they have
All of the above are trails that can be ridden immediately after or shortly after rain as they drain well and/or have rocky/sandy terrain.
I go to Charlotte often to visit family but have not yet encountered somewhere to ride after rain. Can anyone share some options? I know Sherman and Francis Beatty are out..

The problem is you are comparing the mountains to the Piedmont. Unfortunately the soil geology differs greatly. Two trails that seem to do well in the area are Uhwarrie National Forest and Poston. Both are geologically similar in it's soil. Most of the other trails have a very high percentage of red clay which drains about as well as a sponge. :P

I agree w the comment about piedmont. Mountains, RDU and wilmington
All don't have charlottes red clay which is so in when dry but
Slick and thick when wet.. Tx for all the replies !
