    Understand that!!

If things go as planned, I should be living in the Raleigh NC area by this summer.
If so, maybe I can talk some of y'all into a road trip down to MS?

    From the Race Promoters......

"We've heard racers are coming from Nashville, Birmingham, Jackson, Memphis, Hattiesburg....where else? where are you coming from? i think a preem for the futherest distance might be up for grabs to help cover that gas! speak up...and then pre-reg! this will help us plan for shirts and food. it's getting closer..."

Dex: of you move to Raleigh this summer, hit me up. I live in that ****-hole and with Rock the Bells not really wooing me or Wu-ing me with the line-up I would be down for a road trip to MS to race.

It is going to be a big relief to me when this roller coaster of a ride (my move to NC) ever comes to a halt and that I will have finally arrived in NC.

I'd be cool to be able to make a road back to help with the race and to bring a few new mtb friends from the Carolina's down.

But another factor involved, is that my son graduates from his Basic Training at Ft. Jackson (relaxing jackson) SC Sept 6th.
So I need to save all my resources and "time off" with a new company for that special event.

I noticed there is going to be some food provided, there wouldn't happen to be vegan options, would there?

Here is a post on singletracks.com
3rd Annual Skool of Hard Nox 50 Mile Endurance Race | Mountain Bike Forums

    Postby UltimateTherapy 28 Aug 2012 13:43

"If anybody in the Atlanta or surrounding area that plans on going to the race and want to drive over together let me know.

Originally, I was making it a family fun trip by camping and racing. Because of Isaac, I do not want to take three kids, wife and dog to sit in the rain! But I have put in the training, so I do not want to miss it. It is my first MTB endurance race.
Depending on what happens with the storm, I plan on leaving Saturday morning and return Sunday night or Monday morning, depending how I feel after the race. The best news is for anybody interested, you will not pay for any gas. I have company vehicle, so gas is taken care of.

I have a reserved campsite and you can bring a tent. Let me know if you are interested. It is about a 5 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta."
