    Drop

Got a Drop 2003. Like it so far. But they really upped the anti with the 2004s. Much better value for money.
Upgrading to 6" travel link. Not too happy with the 5" Junior T.
    May PUSH the Vanilla R.
    How are you enjoying yours?

    Good job! yeah

I got one-it is pretty good. I had millions of crank problems (cause of sqare heads or whatever) so I got a ISIS Giga-its beautiful. Yeah the shocks are great and everything too. I'm only 14 , but I swear I will be a pro when I get older thanks to Norco. I have only taken 2 or 3 foot drops with my Norco though. I am getting an '05 Atomik or Fuse as soon as they come out and I will be able to do a number with those.

    New bike (Fireball)

Just received it last Friday and had 1 ride on it. A Norco Fireball for XC riding. I'm impressed with it so far.

... and if we just ... Started out on a Norco

My first serious mountain bike was a '91 Norco Kokanee. Flourecent lime green...my god what were we thinking...lol Now I'm currently riding an '04 SIX. Though the only thing that resembles a six is the frame. Highly tricked out with Dangerboy, Race Face, E.thirteen and a Push'ed Vanilla RC. Oh, and I just added an '04 888r. All the components that I replaced on the six were done to upgrade the DJ frame that I'm building. They didn't break or go to waste. Well, the bottom bracket and stem did break, but other than that it's all COOL!

    I ride 2

2001 Norco Fireball Race, 2002 Norco Shore, Love them both, the BIG bike is the most fun, but the XC turns hard work into gravy.

    Thanks man.

When I got it i figured i'd never have to do anything to it...It was perfect.
    But...
Upgradeitis is a serious illness and should be treated with lots of burrly anodized bits of aluminum.

Here is the list soooo far.

    '04 888r
    Push'ed Vanilla RC Race Works
    Dangerboy levers and stem
RaceFace Evolve DH crank and BB
    E.thirteen DRS chainguide
    Easton Cully pedals
    Gazza 2.6 on the front
    Kinetics 2.6 on the rear

I love the Triple 8!!! So much smoother and 2 more inches than the stock Z150 and it weighs about 150 grams more.

Norco has treated me well, from my '98 saquatch to a 2000 Torrent to an un used soon to be ss 2001 team frame. but when it came time to enter the squish end of the spectrem I had to jump ship. Norco six bike of the year... I don't think so, get me off the lift line and into the B.C. please. great all around HT's, good though limmited spectem FS bikes.

Got my Norco Six straight from Jason at Feed the Habit. It was used, but it cost me $1800 free of shipping and his crew fixed it up so it looks and runs more or less perfectly. The bike is amazing, but I wish they put on 2.5 inch tires instead of the 2.3's so that I wouldn't have had to buy them myself. They also should have given the option of the 66RC instead of the VF. The VF is a good fork, but if you're gonna offer an upgrade, offer something much better than what it's replacing so people will buy it. I'm still very happy though. Here's my baby:

    New Six One

Just went and bought myself a new 2006 Six One, I was looking at the Shore pretty close, but the Six fits my riding a little more.
I did upgrade the Six's rear shock to the DHX 5, and put the Mavic Deetrack wheels on it. I should have it by Wed.

Right now I ride hard tail, KONA Hoss, and a Specialized Big Hit.

I am riding a Fluid 3.0 and have actually been having some issues that I wonder if can be fixed. As you can see from the pic I put a float rl on it and it raked out the rear linkage and causes nasty chain suck into the bottom bracket. The pooper is I love how this thing rides and don't want to change it back to how it was. Anyone have any suggestions? Can I upgrade the rear linkage to properly accept a longer eye-to-eye rear shock? From the pics I am seeing the rear linkages look very similar between all of the models. I recently upgraded to an ultegra rear deraileur, ultegra cassette, and blackspire chainrings up front and that didn't help a bit. I just don't want to give up the travel or the granny gear

    My Six One is here!

I have had it for several weeks now, having a blast. I put a new seat on it so if anybody wants my stock telescoper with I-Beam SDG seat I'll sell it. The post does not fit my Bighit or Kona, it is 30.0.

    Great Bike.

Nice bike dude!!! how much does it weights?

I have a Six 2005 and I love it, it tips the scale on the 41lb, though.

Given that all the Norco guys are in here, I have some questions for you guys:

I managed to break the derailleur hanger and lost half of it. I live in Mexico and thereís only one Norco distributor in the country. Heīs several hangers lying around but he doesnít know which one is for the Six 2005. I think I could recognize it if I look at it, but is better to be sure. So here are the questions.

Which hanger does the 2005 Six use? Is it shared by other Norco bikes? Is it the same as the Six 2006 (I doubt it due to the TA on the 2005)? Hope you can help me guys, Iím missing the summer rides due to this situation.

    Thanks,
