I am 6ft1 and rode a Large with a 50mm stem and absolutely loved it. With the Reverb seatpost the seat height was at the perfect height and the reach felt very comfortable. One of the best 140mm travel bikes I've ever ridden.

    Hi
    Thanks for the info
Is seems that the large feels long
Or maybe I'm used to DH bikes
Because I like the technical trails to ,
However I'm deffently going to ride uphill
And the M size feels more playfully ...
Or you are saying that for my size go with the large
    Thanks

Im a DH based rider also and I loved how the reach felt on the Large with 50mm stem. It felt very playful, so much so that I spent most of the ride day on north shore DH trails, it would pedal up the fireroad very well and then coming back down was a real treat! Very fast over everything!..

IMO if your over 6ft1 and like abit of room to move around, then I would definitely get a Large, best case scenario is for you to go to a local shop and test ride both the Medium and Large on the trails that you'll riding the most and then decide from there.

    Hi:
I'm looking to get a 2012 Sight Frame, I'm 6ft tall, I currently have a LARGE Ibis Mojo Classic (same as the SL). The plan is to move all the parts from the Mojo to the Sight.
I live in Mexico so chances are I won't be able to test ride for size, wich do you guys think will fit me better?, my current Mojo fits me perfectly.
    Thank you.

I'm 5'10" and recently rented a demo 2012 Sight. Based on matching the geometry numbers to my current bikes, the medium seemed like the right size but I felt more comfortable on the large. A bit more top tube and less stem than I currently use but it felt good.
The glass is twice as large as it needs to be

That's what I'm learning... I've sent them a couple of emails without luck, I don't know if I want a bike from a company that won't answer my questions...

    Yeah

Hence why mine has gone back

Told a new frame would be up to 5 months away

    Crazy

    Defuentes,

I'm guessing your in the states??

Sometimes emails get sent to spam box of said companies.

I work at a shop up here in Canadia, we mostly deal Specialized and Norco since we first opened a few years ago.

As far as internet dealings, I highly doubt you'll find a frameset on the interwebs unless its on Ebay or something of the like. The first and main reason is, availability is quite scarce, 2012 was treated as a "in-between" year by many companies, and they produced quite abit less.. The second reason is like Specialized, Norco want to remain loyal and committed in dealing with LBS only.

As far as getting a hold of a company, shockingly, I've found Norco quite abit easier to get ahold of than some of the much bigger companies out there... ie.: Specialized.

Since 2012 framesets are all sold-out, 2013 framesets are expected to hit the warehouse within the month.

If you need any info, do not hesitate to shoot me a PM. I can answer questions quite quick.

    Cheers

    Hi Loolilon,

I'm having the same problem at the moment. Was hoping you could give me some advice.

I'm 183cm and going to buy a Sight 2 online next week. Unfortunately no Norco dealers in Ireland.

Did you buy the Large? Did you try out the Medium?

    Thanks,
    Stephen
