    Norco Rampage

Is anyone running a short travel fork on a Rampage? Any issue with BB height?

The optimal geometry of the bike was designed around a 150-160mm. Putting a shorter travel fork will have negative effect on the geometry, think much steeper headangle and indeed a lower bottom bracket.

A general rule i've adopted over the years is for every 10mm you add or subtract off the front end could cause as much as 1degree of change either way.

I ran my Rampage with everything from a rigid fork through a 180mm. Even with the uber short (for the Rampage) 470mm rigid fork I still had better than 12" of bb clearance and a neutral feeling front end.
Well, it was a good try.
