@ dRyk... I have had this bike now for a month or two. For the weight about 25lbs. For me it was worth the price. Could have a better wheel set and hubs. But then the price point goes up. Considering This is the best XC aluminum hard tail Norco has to offer, i thought everything was well priced. Great bike!

I just picked one up. So far I am amazed, but I am stepping up from a Trek 3700 that never really fit all that well. I checked around with all the local shops,and rode a comparably priced 29er from all the locally available brands. I like the Norco Charger 9.1 best, but a previously test ride on an air fork equipped bike spoiled me, so I took a chance and ordered the Nitro sight unseen. Fortunately, It fits about like the Charger. Black Hills Bikes gave me a pretty good deal at $1199.
