Not much to say really, so the spec....

    Pike Solo Air
    DB Inline
    Hope Tech E4's
    Mavic Crossmax
    Magic Mary's, tubeless
    XT cassette w/ 42T Wolftooth
    Atlas Cranks w/ 32T NW
    Atlas bars and stem
    KS Lev post
    WTB Rocket V Ti
Mallet Pedals (Time MX8's on the way!)

Love it. At least as good as my old Nomad or Rune, if not better.

I've been considering the DB inline. However, the shock is rated for 150mm. Would I be correct in guessing that at 8.5X2.5 you still get full 160mm travel? Cheers!

That's a soft recommendation, rather than a "rating", per say.

I believe some 160mm frames from specialized will come stock with Inlines, actually.

If you don't do much in way of sustained DH (I.e. lift assisted riding), you really don't need the additional oil capacity given by the piggy back of the DB Air, and the Inline is probably a better choice, IMHO. For me, I have shorts ups and downs, so it's perfect. Yet, still more oil capacity than the Fox Float it replaces.

All in all, it blows the stock shock out of the water. It's FAR more tunable, and gives you all the options to tune, and similar compression curves to, the DB Air XV-Can.

And with any 8.5x2.5, you will get 160mm Travel on the range =)

I LOVE it. Bert bike to date.

Small tweaks now. Switched out the post to RS Reverb as the lev gave me issues. Pedals switched from Mallets to Time MX8's. Added Bottomless Token last night. Trying to the get suspension dialed.

I was thinking of the inline as well for the same reasons, or a tuned rp23. I bought a 2014 in September because I preferred the Orange.

Don't hesitate! I'd buy it over again. It is fantastic, if you don't mind spending a bit of time on the tuning. In the end you'll get a better tune out of it, than you will the RP23, in my opinion.
